Kurt
Hogan is a
multi-talented producer, writer and versatile on-air personality,
Kurt Hogan's appeal is immediately apparent. A model-handsome, yet
down-to-earth guy, Kurt in fact, began his career as a model on
route to an acting career. Wanting more creative control, he went
behind the camera to learn the business from the inside. Ultimately,
he ended up producing and directing music videos, TV and films.
But Kurt's first love is writing and he continues to develop scripts
during his increasingly rare downtime.
Kurt
landed his first TV News reporting assignment at the CBS affiliate
in Salisbury, MD. He then jumped to a bigger market at the NBC station
in Birmingham, AL. Next we landed at the WB station in Raleigh/Durham
NC, where his coverage of the 1968 church bombing trial won national
attention. Then he was off to Charleston, SC where he reported for
the NBC affiliate and CNN. After many years in the business, Kurt
went back to his undergraduate alma mater, Norfolk State University,
and will soon receive his Master's degree in Media Management. During
this hiatus, Kurt stays in touch as the host of "The Quiet
Storm" on the local KISSFM station. In true Hogan style, the
show is #1 in that market. |
